“I’m now studying towards my Masters in Publishing here at Edinburgh Napier, after deciding to transfer my project management skills across to an industry more aligned with my personal interests.” – Georgia Walters, MSc Publishing

I did my undergraduate degree in Human Geography at the University of Southampton, and after graduating with a 2:1 in 2008, worked for GlassHouse Technologies for almost 4 years – they are a global IT consultancy firm based in Surrey, England. I had a number of different roles there as I progressed, eventually ending up as a Project Co-ordinator / Project Manager.

I left in January 2012 to travel, and spent 18 months backpacking through central and southern Asia, and central and south America.

I’m now studying towards my Masters in Publishing here at Edinburgh Napier, after deciding to transfer my project management skills across to an industry more aligned with my personal interests. I am loving the daily interaction with products I’m passionate about – books!

As part of the course I’m Project Managing the publication of The Pushkin Prizes Anthology 2014 – you can read more about it here: https://publishingdegree.co.uk/student-projects/the-pushkin-prizes-anthology-2014/.
