Children from primary schools across Scotland will join us tomorrow (Friday) for swash-bucklin’ fun at our pirate party.

Celebrating the launch of Treasure Island: A Play, the activities will begin at Craighouse Campus at 2pm (until 4ish).

Along with the face painting, win-a-pirate-bear competition, sing-a-longs with Jimmy Tait Pirate’s Mate, a free book (and cakes!) – we are expecting a real multi-coloured parrot to join us for photo opportunities!

Pirate dress optional!

Treasure Island: A Play has been produced by Edinburgh Napier University MSc Publishing students and features artwork by primary school children across Scotland, as well as a foreword by Michael Russell MSP. Profits from sales of the book are being donated to CHAS.

The launch will take place on FRIDAY 8 JUNE at 2pm in the Grand Turmeau Hall, New Craig, Craighouse Campus, Edinburgh Napier University, EH10 5LG. (Free parking available on campus.)

Formalities will begin at 2pm with fun activities until 4pm. Free refreshments and free book for everyone attending (RSVP essential).
